Britannia also offers the Ultrastream range of canopies, which use UV Filtration
to provide secondary grease destruction and odour removal. Which keeps extract
ducts clean, and allows for cleaner discharge air. First stage grease removal
is achieved using the Superstream high efficiency baffle filter panel, which
also provides a fire barrier between the kitchen and ductwork. Grease and
odour destruction is achieved by passing the extract air through the UV lamp
assembly located within the canopy. Intense UV light energy breaks down and
destroys residual grease and odours by a combination of ozonolysis and photolysis.
